Maybe if I make the effects brighter on the camera I would look better because my skin complexion will resemble a person of a lighter color.Maybe if i wasn’t fully black and mixed with another race and my hair were big full curls instead of these tiny barely curls that some would call naps. Maybe just oh maybe if I find some friends darker then me i wouldn’t feel so dark. See a light skin girl will never hear “oh your pretty for a light skin girl” like I hear I’m pretty for a dark skin girl. Noo that will never happen. I know what ill do. Ill just walk my little black ass to the beauty supply and go get some 5.99 brown or green contacts and spend so much money on my hair nails then I can be in competition with the brighter chicks. Yeah that’ll do it since i wasn’t born with the hair like theirs ill perm mine and get some weave to make it look like i have “good hair”. I don’t think there is anyway around it. No matter where I go on social networks on the radio I hear that lighter is better. is it that bad to be coffee brown or even chocolate. Does my skin color really define if I’m beautiful or not?Am I really inferior to a light skin person? Why does it seem like every time somebody describes a persons beauty they say the skin tone first. Does being dark represent ugly? So if I’m not light skinned or a “yellow bone” with a big ass and at least some B cups I’m not attractive.

Damn you know what I’m going to have a child by someone almost white or white so my child won’t have to grow up like me. They’ll grow up to be beautiful and everybody would like him/her because their lighter and maybe they’ll be accepted and adapt to the world better then I ever was. And if my plan goes correctly and i have a daughter she will be able to get a man with just walking out the door and never hurt and hear “your pretty for a dark skin girl”
